SuperFlex is a flexible slider that has support for all kinds of media. You can mix and match the slides to contain images, video, maps, custom content and more. You will have great control over the look and feel of the slideshow. You will love SuperFlex.
The Hero media type shows a prominent headline, paragraph, and button link. Grab attention, or call to action. Loaded with custom background and text control, Hero is a major addition to SuperFlex.
The Stack media type is the most free-form slide within SuperFlex 3. Whatever stack content goes in - is what comes out. Then add a custom thumbnail image and caption to a Stack slide, the possibilities are endless.
The workhorse of the slideshow, an image media type auto generates thumbnails from the main slide image. Images can be loaded with an external url, if preferred. A custom thumbnail is also an option.
When you need a map on your site, few would argue Google Maps is the best solution. The Google Maps media type takes map embed code and applies responsive formatting, letting your map scale fluidly on any screen.
YouTube videos are viewed over 4 billion times a day, a convenient option for business or personal use. The YouTube media type makes adding a responsive video slide effortless, just enter the unique video id.
Vimeo is perhaps the most elegant main stream video host out there, the playback experience is one of quality. Just enter the unique video id in the Vimeo media type - and it's ready to watch!
SuperFlex 3 generates thumbnails automatically from image media slides. This not only makes thumbnail slideshow setup a breeze, but can impress clients looking for fast turn around and stunning results (with little effort).
All SuperFlex slides feature a drag and drop thumbnail image input. This means all your embedded slideshow videos can now have shiny new thumbnails with imagery of your choice. Thumbnails are optional, not required.
Having thumbnails is not what makes SuperFlex 3 impressive, many slideshows have them... It's the 15 independent thumbnail controls we've added to meet virtually any customization needs - THAT is what sets SuperFlex 3 apart.
Normally, slideshows endlessly cycle through slides, creating a loop effect. SuperFlex 3 now makes slide looping optional. Disabling loop is useful when slides are for tutorials, or the first or last slide have significance, or calls to action.
While SuperFlex can generate remote folder slideshows, it's only viewable when published. To ensure your slideshow will show properly before publishing, SF3 has folder validation that appears within RapidWeaver preview!
SuperFlex does not limit slideshows to strictly show remote folder images OR RapidWeaver project slides, you can show both slide sources together! For example, you can show Vimeo videos, a Google map, then remote images.
SuperFlex 3 extends direction styling with button size, radius, inset amount, mobile hide point, and color adjustability with opacity control. Also set direction for carousel thumbnails, or choose to keep direction buttons always visible.
Prior SuperFlex versions only allowed caption text - or not... Admittedly, not much control. SuperFlex now extends caption control to display duration, background tint opacity, font size, mobile hide point, and hover reveal.
SuperFlex has a "banner import" that imports the slideshow into the banner of Nick Cates Design themes. SuperFlex 3 now extends the import ability to Extra Content 1 - 9 containers, providing the theme supports EC containers.
For SuperFlex 3, a new animated loader was designed. The new loader animation is clearer, purely symbol based, and offers more custom design control. Adjust loader size, thickness, speed, color, and mobile hide point.
Building pages with external content like Youtube or Vimeo videos, becomes unpleasant when often switching between edit and preview. "Freeze" prevents loading SuperFlex content for faster, smoother, page development.
Toss images into a folder on your server - and watch them appear in your SuperFlex slideshow! SF3 features remote folder linking and auto slideshow generation. This innovation is a major convenience when dealing with many images.
