Integrating Post Office with Mailchimp


Integrating Post Office with Mailchimp is very easy. There are always some questions when it comes to it so here are some tips to help you make sure it runs smoothly!

  1. Make sure you the correct API key and the correct List ID. These are found on the Mailchimp website. They tend to change the location of these from time to time, or else we would provide images showing you were they are kept.

  2. Be sure the check box marked Unsubscribe is UNCHECKED, unless you are making this a signup for people to unsubscribe from your newsletter. Remember, you can only have ONE Post Office stack per page.

  1. Mailchimp does something most other companies like them, they send out a verification email. Your Mailchimp database will not fill in unless the people who get the verification email, click on the link in the email. Also, if they never click the verification link in the email, no matter how many times they re-enter their information, no more emails will be sent to that email address untl the first one is clicked. Be sure that people are also checking their spam/junk folders for this initial email. This last step is out of our control and is something you need to be sure the users signing up for a newsletter know about.
