Orphaned HTML Files Because Pages Change to PHP

If you notice that the published changes to your site are not being displayed on your live site even after clearing your browsers cache, then it is possible that you're page has changed from an HTML to PHP. This can be the the result of adding a stack or plug-in to your page that requires PHP.

It is important that you remove the orphaned HTML file as the browser will prioritize HTML over PHP.

You can check the current page extention from within page inspector in rapid Weaver.

To set PHP as the default page typed for your RapidWeaver project enter site advanced site settings and change the default extension to PHP.
