Start slide layout not styled when loop is enabled


If you are using stacks inside your slides that have moderate or complex styles, then it is best if you do not enable slide looping. This is a known limitation with how the libraries that power MovingBox function.

The geeky reason why...

Stacks uses IDs to scope most of its styles for every stack on the page. The library that powers MovingBox, creates clones of the first slides in order to make looping possible. A webpage can only have one element of the same ID. Therefore, when the clones of the first slides are created, their associated IDs get stripped. Since there is no ID, there are no styles to tie them to. This is why the slides are unstyled until then are in place. The styles appear again once the plugin can ensure that the clone can be replaced again with the original slide.
