How does Eclipse compare to Foundation Site Styles?

Eclipse exists today because of how users were loving the background options provided inside Site Styles. However, to provide all of the power a flexibility that users wanted, it was best to make a new stack.

The following list is how Eclipse currently differs from Site Styles...

• Eclipse can do background video
• Background overlays can be used on any background type
• You can have up to 10 slides within an Eclipse slideshow
• If you add Eclipse to every page, you can easily configure different images for each page

The last bullet point is a big win for those using Foundation. If you are using the Site Styles global template, you will know that you cannot configure different site backgrounds on each page. Now with Eclipse, you can use your global Site Styles stack to configure everything about your content styles and use an instance of Eclipse on each page to configure the site background.
